LDS Family Services

No one is immune from the challenges in this life. When social or emotional problems arise, there is help. LDS Family Services, under the direction of the priesthood, helps individuals and families throughout the world pursue lives consistent with gospel principles by providing ecclesiastical support, counseling, adoption, and birth parent services.

Currently, there are 55 offices throughout the United States and nine international offices that provide services to members in Canada, Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. You can learn more about how these services benefit you and others by going to LDS Family Services.

Church members seeking help through LDS Family Services are referred by their ecclesiastical leaders. Exceptions include young women facing an unplanned pregnancy or individuals dealing with homosexual issues.

"Succor the weak, lift up the hands which hang down, and strengthen the feeble knees" (D&C 81:5).
