Conditions of Enrollment

Acceptance as a trainee in the training program requires:

• A bishop’s referral.
• An available opening for the applicant.

Enrollment Procedure

• Meet with a bishop to obtain a referral.
• Take the referral to the nearest Deseret Industries store.
• Meet with the store rehabilitation team, who will interview and assess the applicant.
• Under the supervision of a rehabilitation specialist, complete an Individual Self-Reliance Plan.
