Work Adjustment Training

Work Adjustment Training focuses on developing the personal skills required for success in the labor market. Trainees are trained in seven basic work behaviors needed to adequately function in the workplace, including:

  • Accepting the role of worker.

  • Responding to change.

  • Attending.

  • Monitoring work and work needs.

  • Accepting supervision.

  • Working with coworkers.

  • Being a productive worker.

After trainees have developed and practiced these skills, their rehabilitation team coach rates them on each of the seven behaviors every quarter until they complete the Rehabilitation Services training program.
