Abuse Help Line
The Church has established a 24-hour toll-free help line (1-800-453-3860, extension 2-1911) to assist Church leaders, CES (seminary and institute) workers, and LDS Family Services personnel in responding appropriately to situations of possible abuse, neglect, and domestic violence. The objectives of the Abuse Help Line are to:
| | Stop the abuse, neglect, or domestic violence.
| | | Assist victims in getting help by suggesting counseling and providing notice to others.
| | | Ensure that victims and others are protected.
| | | Ensure that offenders are treated as prescribed by local governmental regulations.
| | | Comply with any legal reporting or other requirements.
