Agent Stake for Welfare Operations Responsibilities

Ensure Quality Service

The agent stake president and his operating committee visit the welfare operation regularly to become familiar with all the activities performed within the operation. They are alert to the quality of service being provided and ensure that those who are served go away edified and helped. In operating committee meetings, they regularly review the following:

Customer satisfaction. As reported in conversations with those being served and through customer satisfaction surveys that invite feedback from recipients, donors, and shoppers.

Accessibility. The ease of locating and using services by those in need and those providing volunteer labor. Accessibility includes location, hours of operation, and guidelines for use.

Key indicators. The operation submits a monthly report to Church headquarters and to the Area Office summarizing measures of effectiveness and efficiency. The operations manager should share these measures regularly with the operating committee.

Priesthood and Relief Society feedback. The agent stake operating committee should invite feedback from the leaders whose members are served in the operation.
