- Clyne and Ann Long serve a humanitarian mission in Ecuador. They teach people about finding work, which gives the people of Ecuador hope in a country that is filled with poor and uneducated people who have little hope for change.

- A couple comes to the United States to further their education. They find it difficult to break into the job market. Then they respond to an advertisement for a free copy of the Book of Mormon. The missionaries come and introduce them to the Church's employment program. The couple are eventually baptized.

- After Evelyn was married, she was in desperate need of a job. When an employment center opened in Santiago, she attended the Job Search class. By using what she learned, she was able to find a job making 40 percent more than she had hoped for.
- The Fall and Rise of Marco Antonio
- Marco Antonio resigned from his company because it was facing financial challenges. For a entire year he searched for a job without success, until he learned about the LDS Employment Resource Center where he received help that eventually led him to a new job.
- A Leader Finds Work
- Rene, a Church leader, was out of work for over a year. He learned about the Employment Center and though skeptical, attended classes. There he learned things that helped him obtain a management position with a large construction firm.
- They Were Married and Given in Marriage
- A couple wants to marry but feel they cannot because neither has a job. They counsel with the missionaries who had set up an employment office. The woman finds work and they have enough money to travel to the temple to be married.
- From Refugee to Retailer
- Larisa and her husband fled from their country as political refugees to the United States. After struggling to find employment, Larisa's bishop suggested she work at Deseret Industries. She eventually learned English and found a job with a major retailer. Her husband is now enrolled at Deseret Industries.
- And In That Day Shall Thy Mouth Be Opened
- Rosa leaves her abusive husband and comes to Salt Lake. She gets a job in the Humanitarian Center, takes English classes, becomes a bilingual receptionist, and eventually lands a secretarial job with a national company that offers benefits.
