- Employees at Welfare Square help a transient man who came requesting food. Several years later the man comes back to thank them—he eventually found the missionaries, joined the Church, and came to Salt Lake City to be sealed in the temple to a lovely woman.
- Helping the Homeless in Salt Lake City
- Workers at the Transient Services office at Welfare Square assist the homeless, distressed, and discouraged in Salt Lake City to find answers and often to start a new life.
- One Cold and Snowy Afternoon
- On a cold and snowy day a homeless man on an old bicicle shows up at the storehouse. He is given food, meets with a bishop at the Transient Services office, and is given a bus ticket to St. George and a useable bicycle from Deseret Industries.
