Here is what we call our story:
We met at a church activity on a Monday night. On Wednesday night we had our first date, on Thursday our second. On Friday night we had our third date, which was also goodbye. Early Saturday morning Ken left with his military police unit for Iraq. When he left he took my heart with him. I knew after our first date that Ken was the one for me. It took Ken a little longer than that. Ken was in Iraq for eight months. During this time Ken and I sent many letters back and forth to each other. Ken loved getting care packages from me every week. We were also able to squeeze in a few phone calls. Because of the eight months with out personal contact we were really able to get to know each other and become really good friends. By the time Ken came home from Iraq we were in love. We were engaged after a month and two months later we were sealed in the Las Vegas, Nevada LDS Temple.

Ken and I work well with each other and turn to each other for support and guidance. We share the responsibilities of running our household together and discuss all aspects of our lives with one another. We feel that it is very important to show each other love, so we give lots of hugs and kisses and always tell each other “I love you”. We also show our love by serving each other by working hard both at our jobs and at home. We can’t wait to share our hearts and home with our children.

One May 31st we adopted a six-week-old Lab/Beagle puppy. We named her Kali. It has been so much fun having her in our home. She is such a cutie!

I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. I am the oldest child. My younger sister Stefani is 10 years and 1 day younger than I am. Stefani is adopted; my parents waited over seven years for her to come into our family. I remember not really wanting a sister, but that feeling quickly went away when we picked her up and I began to enjoy the responsibilities of being a big brother. I love my family very much!        I was born and raised in Redlands, California. I am the youngest of three children. I have a sister and a brother. My family is very fun and loving. I am very close to them; my parents are my best friends. I wish that we all lived closer together but I am very thankful that everyone is willing to travel.
