Articles on Special Needs (Disabilities, Chronic Illness)

The following articles contain information on the topic of Special Needs (Disabilities, Chronic Illness). We encourage you to contact one of our offices for additional assistance.

Individuals with special needs include those with impaired vision or hearing, mental illness, intellectual impairments, learning disabilities, serious behavioral problems, and chronic physical illnesses. Some of these disabilities are visible but others are invisible.

The Lord has taught us to love and accept all of God's children regardless of condition or situation. "By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another" (John 13:35). We can follow the Savior's perfect example by increasing our acceptance, understanding, and care of those that have special challenges and situations.
