Articles on Anxiety and Fear

The following articles contain information on the topic of Anxiety and Fear. We encourage you to contact one of our offices for additional assistance.

"Fear not, let your hearts be comforted" (D&C 98:1).

All people have experienced nervousness or butterflies in their stomach as a result of some threat or uncomfortable situation. Anxiety of this nature can rouse you to action and can produce positive behavior. If the anxiety is such that it debilitates and interferes with normal functioning, this might be due to an anxiety disorder. Anxiety disorders are the most common of all the mental disorders. There are several types of anxiety disorders, each with its own distinct features. Most anxiety disorders can be treated with medication and therapy.
