"Behold, this is not my doctrine, to stir up the hearts of men with anger, one against another; but this is my doctrine, that such things should be done away" (3 Nephi 11: 30).
The blessings that can flow from effectively managing our feelings and emotions have been realized by many individuals. However, some people struggle in their efforts to understand and manage feelings of anger. Anger often has roots in an effort to control others, which is a violation of principles of moral agency. And it is only through being accountable and accepting individual responsibility that one can fully realize the gifts and blessings available when we fully manage our emotions.
